24 hour Silent Prayer Circle
UnityCR will host a 24 hour Silent Prayer Circle to provide a time of meditation, prayer, and quiet before the Christmas frenzy. This candlelight vigil will be held in the Swanson Chapel at Unity Center of Cedar Rapids.
The Silent prayer circle will be held from 6 pm on Friday, December 4 through 6 pm on Saturday, December 5. Join us for the full 24 hours, for a few minutes, or any amount of time you desire. Come and drink in the peace and the calm, if only for a little while. As Kyle said on Sunday, if you are the person who hides in the bathroom to find a minute of quiet, this is for you! If you love to pray, this is for you! If you don’t know how to pray, this is for you! If you enjoy that 30 seconds of silence after the Sunday lesson meditation, this is for you!
We invite prayer intentions for participants to hold in prayer consciousness. You may submit prayer your intentions by any of these means:
