ACTIVITIES

UnityCR is an active place. Most any weeknight, you can stop by church and find something going on. UnityCR is pleased to be a meeting place for a variety of community groups, including Alcoholics Anonymous.

On Tuesdays, for example, Intenders of the Highest Good meets at 6 p.m. and A Course in Miracles meets at 7. Each Wednesday, Meditation is offered at 6 p.m.

From our Sweetheart Dinner & Talent Show in February to Circulation Days each June, UnityCR offers plenty of opportunities for fun and uplifting experiences.

We had a stupendous event in September 2009 when we celebrated our 85th Anniversary. Professional photographer Ann Kinney shares images from that spectacular weekend on her Illusions Fine Portraiture Facebook page. The photos are also available for viewing and purchase at Snapfish.

Our first-ever Prayer-a-Thon, held Dec. 4-6, 2009, was a huge success! We raised $7,500 with 15 percent of the proceeds going to the Linn Community Food Bank! See photos when you check out UnityCR on Facebook!

Our Sweetheart Dinner & Talent Show in February 2010 was another successful event. We raised more than $3,000, part of which was tithed to Flood Them With Love, an organization that helps individuals recover from the Flood of 2008.
