Tune to AM 1250

Prelude Songs:

“We are One in the Spirit

We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord
we are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that our unity today is restored.
Everything is made Holy by our Love, by our Love,
Everything is made Holy by our Love.

We will work with each other, we will work side by side
we will work with each other, we will work side by side
And together we’ll build a world where love is not denied,
Everything is made Holy by our Love, by our Love,
Everything is made Holy by our Love.

We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand
we will walk with each other we will walk hand in hand.
And together we’ll spread the news that love is in this land
Everything is made Holy by our Love, by our Love,
Everything is made Holy by our Love.

“We Have Come” by Gary Norian
Here we stand this morning, ev’ryone is family.
Brothers, sisters, we have come.
Hearts and minds are open, voices sing God’s glory,
working wonders in our lives.
CHORUS:
We have come to be together,
We have come to be renewed.
We have come to be a light in the world.
We have come to stand united,
We have come to stand in truth.
We have come to stand in the presence of God.

Look around, these faces filled with love,
God’s light is Spirit shining in our eyes.
Through these doors, hearts rising,
in this room, arms opening, all who seek are welcome here.

CHORUS 2 Times through

THIS IS THE DAY (INTROIT) Mildred

Opening Song

“This Is The Day”
This is the day, this is the day
that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made!
Let us rejoice, let us rejoice
and be glad in it, and be glad in it!

This is the day that the Lord has made!
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
This is the day, this is the day
That the Lord has made!

Congregational Song

“The Breath of God”   by Ricky Byars-Beckwith

The breath of God is breathing me, and resting in the breath of God,
I know that all is well. (Repeat)

The grace of God is grace in me, and resting in the grace of God,
I know that all is well. (Repeat)

The joy of God is joy in me, and resting in the joy of God,
I know that all is well. (Repeat)

The love of God is love in me, and resting in the love of God,
I know that all is well. (Repeat)

All is well, All is well, All is well.

Offertory

Divine Love, through me, blesses and multiples all that I am,
all that I give, and all that I receive. I am grateful.

Offertory Song

“The 23rd Psalm”, arranged by Nina Swanson

Lord, you’re my shepherd, I shall not want.
You make me lie down in green pastures.
Beside the still waters, You will lead.
My soul is restored. My soul is restored.

You show me the pathway of righteousness,
as I trust in Your guidance.
and when I walk in the valley of death,
nothing do I fear. Nothing do I fear.

For You are with me, Your light surrounds me,
Your love enfolds me forever.
Your power protects me, Your presence upholds me,
watching over me, Selah. Selah.

A table is laid before me,
even when danger abounds.
My head is anointed with precious oils,
my cup over flows. My cup over flows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in your house, oh Lord, forever and ever Amen,
forever and ever Amen, Selah, Amen. Selah, Amen.

Peace Song

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be
With God as Creator, family all are we
Let us walk with each other in perfect unity
Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
With every breath I take
let this be my joyful vow
to take each moment and live
each moment in peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me

Prayer for Protection

The light of God surrounds us
I AM the light of God
The love of God enfolds us
I AM the love of God
The power of God protects us
I AM the power of God
The presence of God watches over us
I AM the presence of God
Wherever God is I AM

God goes with you and before you in all that you do, making sure, safe, and smooth your way!

FAQ’s & Guidelines

Below are answers to your questions. Please know that the requests made below are based in sound public health protocols and guidelines. Also, by living within these guidelines, we live into what it truly means to “love our neighbor as ourselves.”

How will I know where and how to park?

Volunteers will guide you to a parking space. Parking will be configured differently than usual to allow for appropriate physical distancing and line of sight.

How will I hear and participate in the service?

Rev. Debra, Nina Swanson, and those participating in the service will be outside near the portico. The sound will be amplified, but it will also be broadcast on AM 1250 station via a transmitter. You can just dial in! The order of service is available on this page.

Will we sing?

If you are in your vehicle with your windows up, sing to your heart’s content! If you sit outside and choose to sing, please wear a mask and sit at a distance from others.

Must I wear a mask?

We ask that you wear a mask when you are outside your vehicle. Also, wear a mask if you are speaking to people through your car window. If you do not have a mask or forgot yours, we will provide one.

What about leaving my vehicle?

The safest way to gather is for all of us to remain in our vehicles. However, you may also sit outside in a lawn chair if you wear a mask and remain at least 6 feet from other congregants, and at least 18 feet
from the musician and speaker. If you have a portable AM radio, this might be an opportunity to use it!

What about rain?

We will not gather in rainy weather. You will receive an email if the service is cancelled. A cancellation will also be posted on social media.

Will the building be open?

One set of bathrooms will be open and we will observe a “two in and two out” protocol. The rest of the building will be closed.

In summary:

• Staying in your vehicle is encouraged
• If outside your vehicle, wear a mask or face shield and remain at least 6 feet from others and 18 feet from the minister and musician.
• Singing is best in your vehicle only. If your windows are down, wear a mask as you sing.
• Wear a mask when speaking through your open car window
• Only run your engine if necessary for comfort.
