How to Exfoliate Your Faith

“To exfoliate” means “to remove the surface of something in small scales.” When you exfoliate your face, you reveal fresh new skin. But how do you exfoliate your faith? And why would you want to? Those are the questions we’ll be exploring in this Sunday service.

Kathleen Mavity, Worship Associate at Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist

I spent several decades as a practicing Catholic, then went through some seminal life events (long story) that resulted in a couple years of being “unchurched.” About 12 years ago I settled into my brand of Unitarian Universalism, which is leavened with the metaphysical principles I find so powerful. Apparently in an attempt to make up for lost UU time, I’m now involved at Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist as a Worship Associate, a member of the Nominating Committee, a member of the Shared Ministry Team, and co-leader of the choir.
