As Unity Center of Cedar Rapids celebrates its 100th anniversary, the beloved Daily Word magazine is also marking a centennial this year. Rev. Ellen tells some of its history and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at how Unity has created inspiration for millions in the past century.
Bio
Rev. Ellen Debenport currently serves as Vice President of Publishing for Unity World Headquarters. Ellen had been a long-time journalist and political reporter in Florida and Washington, D.C., when she decided to change careers and go to seminary. After she was ordained, she served eight years at Unity of Dallas before moving to the Texas Hill Country near Austin to lead Unity of Wimberley. She is the author of Hell in the Hallway, Light at the Door, and The Five Principles: A Guide to Practical Spirituality, which is read and studied all over the world.
