Through the eyes of the Western religions, our understanding of Jesus is very different from the time and the culture in which he lived. Looking through the lens of Middle Eastern Spirituality and the Aramaic language, his messages take on a tone and meaning of true unity for each of us individually and for all of us collectively.

Where Our Humanity Meets Our Divinity looks deeply into life lived in the paradox of our humanity and our divinity. The interpenetration of our humanness and our holiness, where we must hold the paradox, whether in ease or discomfort, joy or sorrow, or anything in between.
Bio
Melissa Harris is an ordained Interfaith Minister with master's degrees in Counseling and Divinity.
As a young adult, Melissa studied psychology in order to understand humanity. She later began a search into the world’s religions, recognizing that humanity in every culture has evolved through, and been shaped by, religious traditions and spiritual wisdom. In that search, she found a home in the mystical origins of the world’s teachings and a new way to comprehend all that is sacred. A way of union inspired by ancient truths and equally relevant to our current needs, where our deepest wisdom is found within us.
A recently published author, Melissa wrote Where Our Humanity Meets Our Divinity because she believes we are at a junction in humanity where traditional religion is missing the mark of the evolving needs of humans. She sees that collectively we are looking for a new paradigm, a way that reveals the union within us and all of creation.
