What is a Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT)

Licensed Unity Teachers serve their Unity Ministry in a three-fold capacity:

  • We adhere to the Unity Center of Cedar Rapid’s By-Laws. We serve together as a Leadership Team for the highest good of this ministry. We act in a manner bound by the Code of Ethics established by Unity Worldwide Ministries.
  • We serve the mission of this ministry, placing it above all personal issues and preferences.
  • We serve as official and accredited teachers of Unity classes under the authority of Unity Worldwide Ministries and in cooperation with Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute.

At Unity Center of Cedar Rapids, we call our LUTs Licensed Unity Leaders (LULs).
