At the age of 52, Ellie transitioned from male to female while living in Cedar Rapids. Although not at all easy, transitioning genders gave Ellie the opportunity for a “do-over” in life. The Leadership Team, which now includes board, staff, and Licensed Unity Leaders, has had several meetings. We are revamping our ministerial search process to realign with our current mission-centric* practice as our spiritual community evolves. We are creating alignment among leadership in order to provide a consistent message as to who we are as UnityCR and what we are looking for in a minister. The Leadership Team is taking an Integral Ministry Introductory Course to continue that process of alignment. (For more information, go to integralministry.com)
